Artist Statement

My portfolio explores expressive color as a conduit for emotion, narrative, and personal growth. Inspired by life’s constant flux, my work captures the beauty in transition — the joys, sorrows, and intricate details that evoke intrigue. My watercolor pieces celebrate color’s versatility and emotional depth, while both my two and three-dimensional works reflect influences from my time studying in Montepulciano, Italy, the vibrant culture of New Orleans, and my Southern roots in Atlanta and South Georgia.
